I, Olalere Shittu, is an Applied Parasitologist, a Lecturer I in the Department of Zoology, Faculty of Life Sciences, University of Ilorin, Undergraduate Seminar Coordinator (2015 – 2017) and is a researcher in Molecular Biology with a vast interest in epidemiology, diagnostic techniques, immunology and Biochemistry of Parasites, Malariology and Gastroenterology. I have published my findings in many local, national and international Journals. I am currently working on Proteomics and Genomics of malaria causing parasites with a view to contribute to the global malaria elimination efforts by the World Health Organization. I have successfully supervised more than 60 undergraduate project students’ since joining the services of the Department in 2014.
