About Us

The curriculum of the Department for undergraduate studies spans through a duration of four years for candidates that enter through Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and three years for direct entry candidates.

The programmes in the Department are:

• B.Sc Zoology
• M.Sc Zoology
• M.Phil Zoology
• PhD Zoology

For the award of Bachelors (B.Sc Zoology) Degree, there shall be a full-time programme of study and the degree may be awarded with honours or pass. The students are required to take approved combination of courses that are compulsory, required and elective.
