Biography

I am Dr. Saratu I. Abdulkareem, a senior lecturer at the Department of Zoology, Faculty of Life Sciences, University of Ilorin, as a Departmental SIWES Coordinator; Secretary, Departmental Academic Board meeting; Member, Postgraduate Committee, Research Publication and Ethical Committee, Examination/Timetable and Result Committee, Seminar Committee, Adviser to 100 and 200 Levels Students; Supervision of Undergraduate seminar, project & SIWES. At Faculty Level, as Faculty of Life Science Representative at Faculty of Business Management Board and UNILORIN Quiz and Debate Committee. Departmental representative at Faculty of Life Sciences Examination Malpractice Committee and Dress Code Committee; at University Level, as Assistant Director (Operations) Centre for International Education (C.I.E.). My research is focused on assessment of toxicological impacts of pollutants on aquatic lives and their management. I joined the system on 10th July, 2012 as an Assistant Lecturer and today, I am a Senior Lecturer.
