Dr Olutomi Adeola Adeyemi-Ale is a senior lecturer in the Department of Zoology, Faculty of Life Sciences, University of Ilorin. She joined the services of the University as an assistant lecturer in the year 2008. She is presently the acting head of the Department of Zoology. She has held many administrative positions including level adviser of all levels, (especially 400-level for seven consecutive years), examination and timetable officer, chairperson of departmental social/welfare committee, faculty representative, merit awards committee, member faculty committee monitoring of academic staff, faculty representative dress code committee, amongst others. Her research interests are on impacts of pollutants on air, soil, surface water, groundwater, aquatic and terrestrial animals, and humans. She has published in many reputable journals and she is a peer-reviewer to some highly reputable international journals which include Environmental Science and Pollution Research and BMC Health Services Research.
